Developer
The project developers are BLI Properties, LLC and Medomak Land Company, LLC, both Maine limited liability companies owned by the Goldenson 2005 Special Trust. Daniel R. Goldenson, an experienced developer and resident of Bremen, is the managing partner of both entities.
Organized in 2005, BLI Properties, LLC is the owner of the 50-acre subdivision called Flying Passage, located on the north end of Bremen Long Island.
Medomak Land Company, LLC, also organized in 2005, is the owner of the master easement covering the property where the marine landing is being built.
Dan and Suzanne Goldenson are residents of Bremen, and own a 50-acre farm on Keene Neck Road, adjacent to the area where the marine landing is being constructed. They purchased their oceanside farm in 1995. Dan has handled both the subdivision approvals and all the plans for the creation of the mainland marine landing.
A developer for more than 30 years, Dan first subdivided more than 140 acres of land near Blue Hill, Maine in 1974, and created 48 wooded lots for seasonal and year-round buyers. All of the lots were sold by 1985, and many beautiful homes have been built over the years.
A graduate of Princeton University with a degree in economics, Dan, along with his wife Suzanne were residents of Princeton, New Jersey beginning in the 1960's. Over many years, Dan developed office and high-tech facilities in the Princeton research corridor.
In 2005 the Goldensons became Maine residents. Prior to leaving Princeton, Dan served as chairman of Friends of Coventry Farm, a local organization which spear-headed the preservation of the largest historic farm. The 160-acre tract is now enjoyed by residents as they pass the farm or hike its many trails.
